YOUTH PROGRAM

HAPA is dedicated to involving the youth of the community with its concert series. It is vital for young musicians to be exposed to professional performers. HAPA offers youth ticket prices and master classes with some of the visiting musicians.

Since 1980, Music has been the raison d'être of the Huntsville Association for the Performing Arts. HAPA has been instrumental in presenting a unique winter concert series in this community for 29 years. Countless illustrious musicians have been show-cased, some of them young performers who were just embarking on their musical careers and have subsequently become world renowned virtuosi. This Music organization encourages the concept of having stellar Canadian musicians venture out from the larger urban centers into smaller communities such as Huntsville. HAPA’s mandate continues to be focused on welcoming all age groups, from a wide variety of demographics, specifically encouraging more youth to attend since they will, after all, become our future audiences and performers! It has been fortuitous for HAPA to be able to continue to present its concerts in the intimate and acoustically superb venue in the Trinity United Church sanctuary.
